Could someone tell me where in the archives I can find some footage of a red carpet arrival for a movie premeire? I need shots of arrivals, lots of camera flashes...etc. Also, has anyone had luck with being able to edit the MPG2 formats in any video editing software? thanks

I have to convert files ending in .MPEG to .AVI using the freeware program, "VirtualDubMod." Some of the newer Prelinger MPEG2 releases (whose files end in .mpg) are directly editable in programs such as Pinnacle Studio. A Google search should help you find a URL from which to download the program.

MPEG 2's are editable in Video Explosion Deluxe (used to be Sonic Foundry's Video Factory) which is a real bargain at about $80. CNET's review gives it 9 out of 10.
